Every once in a while, we get a reminder of it.
Toni got this a few days back - it's from her Twitter feed. I removed anything that would identify any of the senders, but I left the messages. The dichotomy struck me as pretty powerful. I'll let the picture says the rest.

I hear you, and agree. It's very easy to forget the absolute luxury and ease we live in compared to even modern times in other locations on this planet.
That said, I bet you just made that person feel like a complete douche. heh.
